The Wayne County Schools Career Center is accepting applications for the positionof:

Part-time Aspire Instructor

STARTING DATE:  Upon Hire Per the Board of Education

SALARY:  Approved hourly pay scale 

REPORTS TO: Sandy Elliott, Supervisor of Career & Technical Education

WORK WEEK/YEAR: Part-time, as needed per program calendar. Day and/or evening class times at Millersburg site. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

       • Looking for instructors to help adults improve academic skills in various subject areas

           1. Hiring Adult Basic/Secondary Education Instructor for high school equivalency                     and college/career entrance (math, reading, science, social studies).

           2. Hiring English for Speaker of Other Languages (ESOL) Instructor to help                             non-native English learners improve reading, writing, listening and speaking                         skills.

        • Bachelor’s degree min.

        • BCI/FBI criminal records results less than one year old must be submitted prior to               initial employment and as required thereafter.
